GREEN, MEET SNOW.

Sometimes the season tells us how to live and if we're really lucky, it does so with frequency. Half of my heart is in Northern Michigan, where there is record breaking amounts of snow for this early in the season, and subzero temperatures. The other half in Savannah, where it snowed an inch and the entire city shut down. Some kids saw snow for the very first time and took the opportunity to build snowmen or make snow angels, while adults were observed slipping around on the ice and playing like kids. I love snow. I love weather for that matter. I find it interesting to experience how different places adapt to the weather that effects their world. And to observe the line between what is manageable and worth managing and what requires a powering down, or hunkering down of sorts.

SOME INSPIRATION FOR THOSE HUNKERING DOWN MOMENTS:

I don't really care about things, beyond necessity. BUT the one thing I do dream of having one day, is an old truck. One that isn't immaculate and has a nice sort of patina of time and function.
